Just a quick word to say well done to Shotgun Mike for the performance of your 4 year old colt 'Shockz' last night. As predicted here on this blogsite this boy finished in the places at long odds of 18/1. Well done guys.

bobs boy - 8:36 - 4/1

He may be without a win in his month long career but in a field of this quality this members trained colt stands out as one of the best. In his 11 runs 2 year old bobs boy has been placed in six races with muddy and firm proving to be his favoured going to date. This new stable which joined us on the 20th of September will be keeping their fingers crossed that their boy gets a good jockey tonight. If he does then a win is possible - a place is highly probable.

Nayyir - 8:57 - 34/1

This race could be regarded as the Nags cup as the horses involved are a long way off the top tier. Still theres money to be won and I reckon longshot Nayyir could just have what it takes to at least nick a place. Owned by the MickJam yard this 2 year old colt has won once and been placed in eight of his 19 races to date. While he won't steal the headlines he should challenge for a placing in this race in Dubai.

8 legged freak - 9:12 - 8/1

Hardly the most glamourous of names but 8 legged freak has been a star since being bought by the bigboysteve yard two weeks ago. In 6 races the black 2 year old has won twice and been placed twice though his last outing yesterday was disappointing. This will be his very outing on fast going and he'll be hoping he can convert his fine form on muddy to fast in Dubai this evening.
