Can Lady Killer finish off her career with a major final win?

As she enters her final days I'd like to wish the amazing Lady Killer all the best as the 7 year old attempts to become the highest earning filly of all time.Lyric fantasy holds the record as she pulled in £8,682 in her career for the Davey stable. At present with time ebbing away Lady Killer stands on £8,285 just under £400 away from the illustrious title. While success in Monday's Newbury fillies sprint challenge final would see her sail past Lyric fantasy's record Ken Allan will be all to aware that despite her fantastic stats shes never fared well in the biggest races. So can Lady Killer do it? We'll find out on Monday evening. One record that can't be taken away from her though is for most wins. With 129 victories she easily holds the title though La Gazza Ladra may take that accolade in seasons to come if current form continues.

Hit the North - 8:12 - 17/2

If this colt was a cricketer he'd have a terrific batting average. In 35 races the j's stable trained 2 year old has won 10 times and been placed 14 times in a total of 35 races. Many of his races though are in smaller fields so it'll be interesting to see how he gets on in the USA this evening. Very used to running on muddy ground he could well suprise a few people trackside this evening and must be considered a decent each way chance if he's in contention 4 furlongs out.

ShockZ- 8:36 - 18/1

In whats sure to be one of the best races of the night expect to see a suprise. Shot gun mike sends out 4 year old colt ShockZ looking to prove the bookies wrong. This very able 4 year old colt has won 11 times and has been placed in 27 of his 57 races. Once rated as one of the hottest prospects in the game the grey boy hasn't been as impressive as many would think. Still he's good enough to pick up a place and at 18/1 is an outsider who's hard to avoid.

Red Bean - 8:48 - 11/1

In 7 races Red Bean has finished 2nd on four occassions and 3rd twice. Unable to make that all important step up to winning level so far but it's only a matter of time until he's first past the post. Pacey and clever the 2 year old joined his new yard 'Hala Madrid' last week and is still settling in. A decent virtual contender expect to see him flying out of the stalls all the way to the finishing line tonight in the U.K.
