Details of new season

With more prize money up for grabs than ever before it looks like the 17th season of Getminted/Raceclubs racing is to be the best yet. With a combined pot of over £175,000 you'd be mad not to build a strong stable to earn your piece of the pie. If you're interested but aren't sure what it entails please read any helpful articles on the right or else visit the Getminted home page at www.getmintedracing.com - Happy Racing!

Washington Square - 8:57 - 5/1

I've decided to be a tad more cautious on the tipping front tonight so third favourite Washington Square in the 8:57 from Hong Kong is my nap for this one.Owned by the Johnnybgood stable who have been with Getminted for just over two months this 2 year old colt has been impressive in his career to date. In 8 competitive races he's won twice and been placed in three bringing in career earnings of £52. He seems to run well on yielding and while this will be a big ask for him I expect Washington Square to go close.

Miktosh - 9:12 - 33/10

Short odds here for one of the giants of Getminted racing. This tip seems more about the stake than the actual odds! With career earnings of £3,018 in the bank this 5 year old has done it all. In 138 races he's won 31 times and been placed in 47 and by god he's due another victory! Its been a full two weeks since his last one. Will welcome a return to yielding tonight in Hong Kong and the going may be the crucial factor in this race. A fantastic contender he should win this one all going well.

Krug (UAE) - 9:36 - 18/1

Damn it I'm going to back an outsider. The field for the 9:36 isn't half bad and it could provide the highlight of the night. At nice odds this Martian trained 5 year old colt should have a decent chance of nicking a place at least. In a decent run of form of late he won on the 12th of October but perhaps alarmingly hasn't raced since the 17th of October. With 11 wins and 17 placed finishes from 71 races its clear he has ample quality but lets hope he's race fit and gets a good jockey.
