Golden Eaglette - 8:12 - 10/1

Theres a good few horses in this race who have to impress otherwise their times at their respective yards will be short lived. Golden Eaglette was entered in a claimer yesterday as owners Racing Clear stable believed the 2 year old filly wasn't delivering. Golden Eaglette's reply was a victory in a small field of four. The filly has a decent place ratio. In 24 races shes been placed 12 times (50% place to run ratio) as well as 3 victories. After regaining confidence yesterday I expect her to bounce back and take a placing in Hong Kong this evening.

Lamb Stu (NZL) - 8:36 - 11/2

This talented 4 year old colt was back to his old tricks yesterday in the USA picking up victory number 20 for the Meat stable. It means he's now earned £2,413 for the yard and in the middle of his career there should be much more to come from the black middle distance running horse. The main worry for this tip is fitness - Lamb Stu has been out for six days in a row and its rare that a day goes by without him running. Still if he can handle the fitness concerns then he should be in with a shout. Good each way chance.

Torahka - 9:12 - 30/1

Theres a significant step up in class between maiden juvenile races and allowance ones but all good horses have to face it at some time unless they have exceptional quality. Torahka was a winner in his last outing on muddy going in Dubai last Saturday. It was his first career win in six races though he did pick up three places since being bought on the 29th of September. Its a sign of the expectation many have in this horse that current owners Midwest Racing Corp paid almost £50 to RedHalo Racing for him. Good horse with a bright future, he could go close here tonight.
