Gandalf 29 hands out the gongs!

Gandalf 29's first award this week is the HUNNY I BLEW UP MY HEAD and this goes to the trainer FORMERLY DVDMAN who earlier in the week made his head swell out of proportion when stating" yes i am one of the top trainers "..however DVD was soon brought back dow to earth when a newbie showed him how to run a horse.. having sold a horse in claimer the newbie who bought it has had a good run of rsults leading DVD to state" i must have overlooked that i should have tried a div races".. there is hope for us all yet.

the next award is THE GOLDEN SHOE AWARD and this goes to my beloved wife TOBYJOJO who this week after seing her horse suffer badly in a couple of races suddenly realised she had been running her with out shoes.. i am sure my darling wife will try to blame me but she is the trainer i just nominate them.

my next award is WHERE DID THE TRACK GO and this goes to GO DUTCH who this week outraged owner by shortening the race track. in his post he stated his horse did certain tt's over 800 metres cutting a whole 200 metres off the shortest distance. now why didn't i think of doing that i might win more.

the next award is CANT SEE THE WOODS FOR THE TREES and this goes to DEDUSON who this week on msn whilst talking to bigboysteve said" so bigboy whats your name?".. alfred i suggest you get to spec savers my friend lol...

my next award goes is MOVE OVER SHERLOCK HOLMES and this goes to MIKE OF MEMBER SUPPORT who this week through maticulous investigation managed to tell an onwer that yes he had the worst random in the race despite the result being on the post and the owner stating already he had had the worste random. i feel from now on i shall have to call mike DCI

finally an award for myself from my very good friend meat this award is I THINK I AM GOD apparently when ever i am on msn instead of typing good i always type god and i understand this is known as FREUDIAN SLIP apparenlty this wise old white wizard is starting to think he is becoming god lmao.

well thats it for another week.. not long now til the christmas/newyear special awards and i have an absolute corker for bigboysteve ..

Why Not after all - 8:48 - 13/1

I have a feeling that Rose Hill made a shrewd purchase when they paid £25 to the Maximas stable on the 22nd of October for Why not after all. This 2 year old black colt has yet to set the racing world alight but his excellent victory on the 4th of November in the USA showed that when all the ingredients are right this boy can run well. Total stats read 11 competitive runs, one win and three placed finishes. If he gets a good jockey then I precit place number 4 is highly likely tonight in the UK.

Previous owner Dommo couldn't wait to get rid of this girl and current owners shotgun mike seem similarly unsure about her potential. However the 2 year old answered her critics in fine style by finishing second in her last race on firm going in Australia two days ago. In that race she showed what she can do when confidence is high and the win would have been hers had it not been for a late surge from on high heels. She has a good chance tonight of upsetting the bookies prediction.

Primordial Dragon - 9:24 - 3/1

Okay so he's the favourite but these odds aren't bad. In just five races Primordial Dragon has won three times adding £220 to madhorse's bank balance! He had a nightmare in his last race in Canada last week but every champion has a poor day now and again. A fantastic prospect he only runs in the big races and could well go on to become the top horse in the yard. Madhorse who joined Getminted on the 17th of January has earned £4,500 in earnings already and with Primordial Dragon in their ranks future win falls are very likely.
