Tricast time change

Again due to the clocks going back I believe the 21:36, 21:48 & 21:57 races will go out our time at 20:36, 20:48 & 20:57 if that makes sense?

My picks tonight are:

21:36: Honolulu Bluess7
21:48: Cocaine Cate Diablo Racing
21:57: Father Thomas Mr Wilson

Clocks shock last night

I think the clocks going back an hour yesterday proved to be a bit confusing for everyone. We got there in the end though.

Not sure if the race program will be fixed for tonight, but bear with me. For the race listed as 21:12 but will probably go out at 20:12 I would suggest taking a look at Superkancha II from Catlikething for an each way and Cruel Harmony from Dallas1 for the win.

The big guns out for the Getminted Monthly Challenge Final

The Getminted Monthly Challenge Final is upon us for October for the 22:24 race. All the big guns are out for this one, including the likes of Dommo, Ken Allan and of course Dallas1.

This will be a hard race to predict, but my money will be on Helen of Sparta from Dallas1 and perhaps Amazing Grace from Dommo for an each way.

Plethora of odds in the 20:12

The 20:12 race tonight has a great range of odds on a field of not too dissimilar horses. The forms aren’t great throughout so a couple of each ways are always worth looking at in these type of races.

I would suggest Steve Claridge from Mrbig.com for the win, Stayman from Middlesex Fields and justin langer from onfire for a couple of each ways.

Great week continues for tipster….but can Flying Dutchwoman keep the run going!

What a week! Last night Captain Sparrow romped home to make it five wins on the trot as I predicted and I could almost taste the pints in my mouth when he passed the finishing line with an electric finish at 9/2. Before that at 17/2 Cigar started my night off well getting a place. Its been a fantastic few days and my luck seems to be in. Perhaps luck breeds courage and thats why I’m going for a horse who has never run before to do very well in the 10:36 in Australia.

The Ken Allen’s trained Flying Dutchwoman makes her debut over the firm going and is entered at odds of 5/1. The latest in a line of Ken Allen’s youngsters she has been recording handy training times and alot is expected of her in this one. A win possible , a place almost certain!

Mess with Grand Master at your peril, he breaks the sound barrier over this going!
October 29th, 2005
A lover of fast going Grand Master is offered at 11/2 for the 9:48 in America. Trained by our old mate Dallas1 he has a 50% win to run ratio finishing first on 3 of his 6 runs while also notching up a placed finish. Won on the 4th of October when all the conditions were identical to this evening’s race, same track, going and distance though it could be argued today’s competition may be superior. Regardless Grand Master is good value for an each way at these nice odds.

Expect a shock from Dark impulse in the 8:36 down under
October 29th, 2005
This 2 year old colt has never tried his fortunes on firm going before so it’s a bit of a voyage of discovery for the Slongs trained horse tonight. It took a while for him to settle but since the middle of this month Dark Impulse has been impressing steadily. 2 wins and 2 placed finishes in the last four he could make it place number three at the longish odds of 14/1. The only horse in the field to have won on two occassions his confidence will produce a swagger others will fear.

Is there any stopping Captain Sparrow? ….and what about Arin Laud!

I’m tempted to buy Arin Laud when he gets too old for raceclubs and keeping him in the backyard so my future children can play with him! At 17/2 the Laud got another placed finish last night much to my delight. Another horse who may bring a smile to my face in the 8:57 tonight is Captain Sparrow from the Ruxton racing stable. A fantastic purchase this 3 year old colt has won all 4 of his races to date and is hoping to become one of few horses to make it five on the trot this evening. Granted the first race was in a claimer but since then he has impressed. Won on yielding on the 23rd of this month but that was in a small field and tonights race will test Captain Sparrow more than any previous. Also he raced yesterday and between fitness levels and winning handicap perhaps a placed finish is more likey this evening. At 9/2 he could help start your weekend off with a bang!

Mrs C to claim victory!!

Well if my previous tip Cigar is hot then Mrs. C is practically on fire and comes into the 8:36 race in scintilating form. Has never failed to make money for the stable ‘Lois’ and how this little belter must make them smile. In 11 runs, Mrs C has won on a whopping 7 occassions and been placed in the other 4. Versatile and well rested the horse hasn’t run since the 22nd so fitness levels should be as near to 100% as possible. WIth 4 wins in the last 5 races this 17/2 shot cant be ruled out for great things tonight. An each way punt a must!

Cigar to ride home in a plume of smoke!

This horse has entered a new faze in it’s career. Steadily improving Cigar has moved from being an average contender to a force to be feared. The career stats don’t look amazing with 5 wins and 11 places out of 21 runs but don’t be fooled Cigar is hot! Won on it’s last trip on yielding in England beating 6 fine horses in the process. Has fared well recently with heavier weights on the back and at 17/2 must be considered for a placed finish at the very least.

Shortened show time on Sky Channel 235

Reaction to postings on the forum

Good afternoon owners, hope you are well. I read your comments on the forum today regarding the proposed shortened live show for Getminted and will attempt to find out the reasoning behind the move. As a mere presenter I am not privy to all the decision making processes but am sure there are other factors involved that both you and I have not considered. Televison scheduling can be complex especially when new shows demand airtime and existing shows decide to go in a different direction. Keep an eye on the blogspot and I'll try to answer the questions which you have posted. Thanks again for your continued support, it means alot to all the presenters and staff on the show. - Graham

Silver Cat to get the cream in America!

Well firstly well done to Bondage babe, Dawn’s colt Scorpion King did well last night to finish third and earned a place at the long odds of 26/1. I tipped it for a place and its the latest in a long list of outsiders to finish in the places recently. However can ‘Silver Cat’ join that list at the crazy odds of 44/1! The cat hasn’t a great win the run ratio but place wise has done very well. Out of 44 runs to date Silver Cat has won 5 and been placed 19 times. Usually runs on shorter distances so will have to give it 100% this evening. The only worry is that the Cat ran yesterday in Canada finishing 2nd on fast. Even with the tiredness I think Silver Cat has to be considered for a placed finish at those odds!

Disappointment…Never. Always look on the bright side of life!

Well after 130 runs owners Diablo racing can’t say they’ve been disappointed with ‘Disappointment’! So far it has claimed victory on 24 trips and been placed a massive 58 times which is nearly a 50% place to run ratio. Last win was on the 23rd of this month in Hong Kong on yielding going and a win tonight would bring the horse to the quarter of a century mark in winners. Always a contender Disappointment should fare well in this smallish field and at 9/2 deserves to be touted as a good each way punt in the 9:36 race.

Have to back Arin Laud again!

Well last week Arin Laud finished in the places after I backed it at 58/1 so in respect I have to back this horse once again. Odds today of 17/2 arent quite as generous but still tempting. Usually runs over the muddy, yielding and soft but trying out the fast here in America this evening. Hasn’t run in three days so hopefully energy and fitness levels will be high. Well used to this distance also. Last win for Arin Laud was in a strong field of nine when the likes of shalapour, victory quest and Grand Falcon were left behind. I’d be suprised with a win tonight but another placed finish coming up!

2 out of 3 aint bad!!! Hopefully Fijian Dream will finally add to recent good tips!

I’m trying to get Gareth and Dave, producers of Getminted to buy me my own trumpet so I can blow it when I predict good results! If I had one I’d be blowing it today after Dallas Cowboys at 11/1 and Spinnaker at 7/1 were placed last night. The former just missing out on victory. Anyway I think my luck is in and so I’m tipping Fijian Dream at 18/1 for an each way punt in the 9:48 with a placed finish more likely. Has endured a run of 2nd placed finishes recently which must be frustrating for the owners. Has an amazing 58% place to run recently so perhaps another will go his way tonight. One to watch out for indeed!

Scorpion King not to be underestimated in the 8:48!

I nearly fell off my chair when I spotted Scorpion KIng was 26/1 for this evening’s race. WIth 2 wins in his last 5 races this bondagebabe trained horse will be in contention barring a tragedy. Was 2nd on yielding last time out in Hong KOng and should be well able to handle the going here tonight. 7 wins and 6 placed finishes have gone his way and tonight at 26/1 I expect Scorpion to make it place number 7 at the very least!

Valafar wont be far away!

First tip of the day is a longshot but sometimes they come in as Arin Laud did last week. In the 8:24 I’m backing Valafar at 54/1 to cause a suprise by taking a placed finish. Out of a 22 race career Valafar has won on 7 occassions with some of the best days coming on fast going. Last time out on fast was 3 days ago when he came second in a claimer on fast in Dubai. It was a small field but boasted some big time trainers. With 2 wins in his last five races keep an eye out for this one for a placed finish.

Dallas Cowboys to super bowl the rest over! (sorry, only pun I could come up with!)

Despite failing to win since the 18th of September the Lord Jinxy trained ‘Dallas Cowboys’as is still a quality horse. On his last trip on firm back on the 4th of last month in Australia he won with a swagger defeating a very strong field of 14. In all this 3 year old colt has entered the winners enclosure on 8 trips and been placed on 14 out of a total of 34 races.

Ran yesterday for the first time since the 27th of September and came last but dont be put off , at the odds of 11/1 he just needs the desire to pick up win number 9. However a placed finish is much more likely.

Watch out for the Spinnaker!
October 25th, 2005
I was once hit by a spinnaker while sailing in Australia , not a nice experience. But will it be one for the Diablo Racing trained ‘Spinnaker’ in the 9:12 tonight? One of the least experienced horses in tonight’s field he’s coming in at a nice weight of 109 lbs. Rallied in his last race to claim 3rd spot 5 days ago on fast going to suggest his best is yet to come. Odds of 7/1 would lead you to believe the bookies have confidence in him also. I think this going will suit ‘Spinnaker’ and he is well worth an each way punt.

Drops of Jupiter looking good for the 8:12
October 25th, 2005
The ‘Slowstables’ have shown time and time again that their name is merely a smokescreen. In ‘Drops of Jupiter’ for example they have a handy if not exceptional horse on their hands. The 2 year old colt is going through somewhat of a purple patach winning his last two races. One of those came on firm going in England in a field of 14. However the last race this boy ran in was a claimer and eventhough he won easily the standard was less than brilliant. A very important race for the 14/1 shot tonight and both slowstables and quick punters would be chuffed with a placed finish.

BOYLE1972 EYES UP 100 WINS AS HE CONTINUES TO GO FROM STRENGTH TO STRENGTH AS AN OWNER!

In timely fashion Boyle1972 picked up two further wins today to bring his number of victories to 84 with the magical 100 well in sight. Today's winners 'Ten Two and Four' and 'Sound FX' are representative of a stable on the up. Having joined on the 25th of May Boyle1972 is fast making a name for himself and when the yellow and blue silks turn up at a track other owners know they'll have a fight on their hands.
Grand Viper winning "A and B Division 3Y CF - Gr 1 - 1" race in Dubai earning EUR771 for boyle1972

A new acquisition 'Death March' is also one to be feared. Despite having only run once to date this 2 year old colt is set for great things. He won on his first trip out in Hong Kong defeating not one but two Ken Allen's horses in the process. Certainly one to watch out for and shrewd punters would do well to keep an eye out for this beauty.

There are now 35 horses in the stable with many already making the headlines. Grand Viper in particular has been doing well, winning 7 and being placed in 10 of his races so far and all that since the end of August! Toffee Nose and Lost my Balls have also impressed though the latter has made some of our more reserved commentators blush!

An excellent owner who we'll be hearing alot more about I believe. Keep up the good work Boyle1972 and hopefully we'll see you in the winner's enclosure again shortly.

A Bullish run expected from Moo Moo Hunter!

Yes this 2 year old colt has been a breath of fresh air to Getminted with some scintilating runs to date. Adores the muddy going and both of his wins have come over this going. The last was in a full field in Dubai when he easily beat Sadistic Twit to ignite huge celebrations in the Woodland Animal’s household.
Moo Moo Hunter crossing the finish line first in Novice Juvenile C - 2 Dubai race

Carrying abit of a weight handicap as a result but only a marginal one and at 5/1 will certainly keep other horses in the field worried. Canada has been a happy hunting ground for this boy as well with the first win of Moo Moo Hunters career coming here on the 12th of October. A win is very possible here in the 10:47 but the more shrewd punters may fancy him for a placed finish.

Role out the red carpet for Regal Bettie!
October 24th, 2005
Named after the Queen but will she be more of a camilla tonight we wonder! Regal Bettie has been within half a length of victory in her last two races which were both on muddy going. Last time out in the USA was pipped at the post by Billie Jean Queen and before that in Dubai Dallas 1’s Decumbiture spoiled the party. Tonight could be the night that Bettie finally picks up her first win after failing on 11 attempts so far. The bookies have foolishly turned their back on this sdownie trained horse putting her at the astounding odds of 22/1. Whatever your opinions on the Royalty this fillie could surely rule the roost in the 8:48 tonight!

Father Thomas in fine form and looking for victory in the 8:12 from Canada
October 24th, 2005
A dependable campaigner 'Father Thomas’ has proved his quality over and over in recent times. He has had three wins in the last five races beating off the challenges of some of the best virtual horses in the game. His last win over muddy going which we will have in Canada this evening was one to cherish. Facing a strong field he breezed home on the 14th of this month in America clinching his 16th championship win and has since extended winning ways to claim win number 17. The only fear is that Father Thomas at odds of 11/2 is rather heavy at 140 lbs and this may be enough of a factor to see him finishing in a place rather than picking up another win. Still at those odds an each way punt is an attractive option.

Can Findarato Surion do an Arin Laud on it and get a place at crazy odds!

Well what can I say! Last night Arin Laud finished third to secure a place as predicted at the massive odds of 58/1! My best bit of tipping so far I think but can Findarato Surion make it two great nights on the trot by coming in at the long odds of 28/1. This ‘Slumped’ trained horse has done just that and confidence levels are at an all time low.

The last three races were claimers so its been a while since he has run in high quality fields. Was once a force or even horse to be reckoned with but now is going through the motions. However I’ve a feeling tonight could be the nice he resurrects his career, tipping him for a placed finish.

Czarina of Moscow must be fancied for a place in the 8:48 in Hong Kong!
October 23rd, 2005
With only 5 runs under her belt so far Czarina of Moscow has taken the virtual racing world by storm. She amazingly won her first three races showing great versatility and a big finish. Interestingly the last two races were less successful and were both on yielding going, recording 3rd and 5th placed finishes. However the Sdownie stables will not be beaten and have entered her for a race on yielding again confident she can get it right. Massive odds of 46/1 hide the fact that she is a quality young horse and an each way punt would be a wise option indeed.

Fijian Dream to put a smile on your face!

October 23rd, 2005
We’ve really had some excellent fields lining up against each other for the first of the televised races this week. Tonight’s 8:12 is no exception. Nice odds of 14/1 are being offered for the Diablo Racing’s trained horse ‘Fijian Dreams’. A decent 3 year old colt, he’s happiest over this trip of 2 miles and has had some success on yielding in recent times. The highlight being a comfortable win in Australia on the 16th of September. Hasn’t had a run for 5 days so expect him to be eager and ready. A placed finish well within his abilities.

LUFC Makes it to the 50 winners mark!

A piece of Get Minted racing history was made on Thursday night as Squirrel Nutkin won in Hong Kong to make it win number 50 for our old friend Paul better known by the Owners name 'L.U.F.C'. This morning long before most of us had lifted our heads from our pillows Meridian started the charge for 100 winners by picking up win number 51 for the stable in stylish style.

LUFC joined us as an owner on the 13th of February this year and has made a massive positive impact on and off the tracks of the world with his sporting and witty verbal combat often bringing the usually lightening quick Dallas1 to his knees! Indeed Dallas as well as Dommo, Davey,Maximas and Efisio to name but a few were the first owners to pay tribute to the Eloquent Elland Road Aficionado!Indeed Maximas summed up the feelings of all owners when he wrote "well done fella, im raising my glass to the next fifty!".. and so say all of us.

Also well done to two of our newer owners who have recently recorded their first wins as Getminted Stable Owners. Billyray became an owner at the end of August and things are ceratinly falling into place for him. After waiting patiently for a while his wins are mounting up, 3 now in quick successsion. The main horses to watch out for in this stable are the well known 'Me Jammy Dodga' and 'Torito'.

Meanwhile congratulations as well to the Waggy stable. Thanks to their horse 'Connor's Cleopatra' the winning feeling is theirs as well. Waggy was gracious in victory saying "... many thanks to all trainers on this site who have pointed me in the right direction, gave good advice as to training cycles and the like, and a message for any newbies, from a relative newbie myself, take advice from people on here who know how to play this, (they) have been playing for quite a while and in the main only try to help, anyway, thanks once again to you all" and thank you for that Waggy.

Stage set for TSIN Silk win in the 10:48!

This horse has taken my eye over the last few weeks and is in excellent form. In 8 races to date ‘TSIN Silk’ has recorded just one win but has been placed on 6 occassions. Hasn’t raced now for over a week so fitness levels should be in the high 9os. A versatile and exciting 2 year old colt he has shown class over various kinds of tracks though firm and fast are arguably his favoured goings.

The odds for TSIN Silk this evening are 7/1 and a win is certainly not beyond him though perhaps a placed finish is more likely. Watch out for him and all your virtual runners on SKY Channel 235’s Getminted racing between 8 and 11, tonight presented by Gabe Turner and myself if I can shake off this bird flu!

If this tip comes in I expect Christmas presents from you all!
October 22nd, 2005
Okay I’m putting my head on the line with this tip but closer investigation will show the bookies may have got it wrong. Arin Laud is quoted at the long price of 58/1 in the 9:12 but has the ability to snatch a place. This wise or foolish conclusion is reached due to two factors, firstly Arin Laud won his last race on muddy going on the 16th of this month in Canada fighting off the best efforts of a full field. Secondly while the other more fancied horses in this field have ample quality they haven’t shown it on muddy for some time. This one could set you up for one hell of a Saturday night!

GroundBreaker to bounce back after poor showing last time out!
October 22nd, 2005
Every horse will have a bad day, a result incongrous to past history. Well the dommo trained ‘Groundbreaker’ surely had that in his last race finishing 10th on the firm going in England. However make no mistake about it this is a fine and well trained horse. Won’t have a problem on the soft going in the 8:12 race from Hong Kong tonight. Has only raced on soft once before, that being back on the 22nd of September when he won convincingly in Australia. Has notched up 5 wins and 2 placed finishes so far in a 12 race career and at the attractive odds of 12/1 should be good enough for a placed finish at least .

A&B Division 3 Year Old Colts and Fillies

England(turf)- Soft- 1200M

Domingo took the early lead off a good break in Wednesday's A&B Division for 3 Year Old Colts and Fillies, with Visitation, Cute N Compact, and Rocket Force also away well. Rocket Force quickly went to the front after a furlong in the six furlong dash over a soft English turf course, as Visitation went to second, Domingo slipped to third, with Ribadesella and Cute N Compact right there within a half length of the leader. Stan James and Silver Cat raced sixth and seventh, three lengths off the pace, with another length back to Slaughter House at the rear of the field.

Ribadesella moved into second passing the four furlong to go mark, but it was still Rocket Force setting the blistering pace out front. Visitation and Cute N Compact battled for third, about a length off the pace, while Domingo was dropping back, now fifth. Farther back, Stan James was all alone in sixth, with Silver Cat seventh, and Slaughter House still bidding his time in eighth.

Rocket Force pulled away to a length and a half lead with just a furlong remaining, while Cute N Compact, Ribadesella, and Visitation were still head to head for third, but from the back of the field, Slaughter House felt the whip and responded with a powerful move towards the front. Slaughter House came charging past rivals in the final furlong, taking the lead in the final strides and the win at the wire. Rocket Force just missed in second, with Ribadesella coming home third. Cute N Compact took fourth, and Stan James was fifth.

RESULTS
WINNER: MICKEEZ's- Slaughter House
2nd: Ollie Holloway's- Rocket Force
3rd: Abaddon's- Ribadesella
4th: karens yard's- Cute N Compact

‘For No One’ to cause a shock as form continues to improve!

The good days seem to be back for ‘For no one’. After a poor August and September he finally returned to winning ways on the 9th of this month on this very track following up on a strong second placed finish a day earlier. However even when fortunes were poor he always ran well on firm and it could be argued this is his favouite going, distance and track.

At odds of 28/1 he’ll be in contention nearing the line in the 9:36 and is worth a flutter for a placed finish at least.

Say your prayers for ‘Keeping the faith’ in the 8:48 in Hong Kong!
October 20th, 2005
Isn’t this the International week of religion or something?! Well that has pushed me in the direction of ‘Keeping the faith’ from the Oscar Cartier stable. At 15/2 the bookies also believe this 2 year old colt can deliver on what is his first ever run on firm going. He has shown excellent potential so far being placed in two of his four races to date, narrowly missing out on victory in England last Monday. Worth an each way flutter and perhaps some divine inspiration might add to the performance too!

Hayfield Home never lets me down!
October 20th, 2005
Since I started this tipping website I have backed Hayfield Home on three occassions and he has never let me down. Tonight he’s given the long odds of 26/1 and at that price must be worth a flutter for a placed finish. Wins an average of 1 in 4 races and has also notched up 16 places in 42 runs so knows all about success. Had a fine win on firm going on the 9th of September in Hong Kong decimating a full strong field. Verstaile and dogged he’ll give it his best shot in the 8:12.

Refer a friend and reap the rewards!

There's nothing quite like friendly rivalry. Take Dallas1 and Lufc for example. Two of the finest owners Getminted has seen they enjoy the banter and cyber heckling adding to their enjoyment of the game. If you are a new owner or even an old one then don't forget about our 'referring a friend incentive scheme' which is open to all.

Basically we want people to enjoy themselves and make some money along the way so if you are racing your horses against your friends you can avail of both aspects of the game, fun and money. Referring a friend has a reward of up to £56 in credits for the existing owner as well so what are you waiting for pilgrims!?

A new owner recently asked about training levels. It seems to be a constant issue. Well if you can get your horse up to 95% in fitness before a race then you're doing well. Remember the race itself will add to the fitness levels too but you dont want to go over the 100% if you plan to race your horse in the near future again.

You can give your horse a maximum of three training runs a day with each run offering 2-5% in increased fitness.Don't forget to change the distance and going initially so you can find out what best suits your worldbeater/nag!

If there are other issues of the game or TV Program you would like me to address here then post them on the 'questions and answers' section of the forum and mark them for my attention. Best of luck owners and punters alike!

Eire Belle to delight the virtual Irish crowd in the 9:24!

No one knows how to party like an Irishman and if Eire Belle delivers this eveing in England the Guinness will be flowing freely! At 11/1 this 2 year old fillie is struggling to find her first win but has been placed on 7 of her 16 runs to date. Has raced on soft twice which is what we have in England tonight and has finished 2nd in both of those races.

Owners big Del didnt get this horse off the back of a truck in Peckham but it could prove to be a shrewd purchase all the same. An each way punt here wise with the possibility of Eire Belle getting her first win on Getminted.

Expect a buzz at the race course in England tonight, Ecstacy is at the track!
October 19th, 2005
Bookies, bookies, bookies, are you BLIND! They have placed Ecstacy at 13/2 in a race on soft going over this distance. Pure madness! Ecstacy has won her last three races on soft and indeed 5 of the last 6 runs on this going. A wonderful virtual horse she has won 20 times out of 66 runs and has been placed on 27 trips out as well. At one stage or another has beaten all the other horses in this field. Perhaps tiredness is an issue, raced on the 5 occasions over the last 8 days but if she can overcome that has to be good value for an each way.

Double W Double, a handful to say and a handful to race against!
October 19th, 2005
Last night I plumped for the 6/1 shot Planet Z to get a place despite being the heaviest horse in the field and in favourable conditions he obliged coming in second. In the 8:24 in England this evening I’m following the same rule and predict ‘Double W Double’ will handle the excessive weight of 121 lbs to do well at the nice odds of 10/1. Few entrants in this race have much experience and being harsh much quality. This boyle1972 horse looks good though winning her last race over fast going in Dubai just a few days ago. Indeed it was over this distance and the trainers seem to have found the right length for her. At these odds worth a flutter for a placed finish.

Well done to 17/2 shot Faster than light for getting placed last night , now Queen of night go and do the same!!

Yes Faster than light ran excellently last night to get placed at those attractive odds, it has been an average week for me in terms of tipping and that performance was ceratinly the highlight thus far. I’m hoping that Queen of Night at 42/1 can top that by getting a place in the 10:24 in Dubai. Is it possible, of course it is!

While she has only won once out of 29 runs to date she has been placed 10 times and many of these good results have come over fast going and at this distance. Has a damn good owner in Abaddon but this is 3 races in 3 days. Regardless Queen of night for a place!

A brave or foolhardy tip, time will tell!
October 18th, 2005
Experienced punters usually want a horse to have alot of experience so they can look at all past results and factors to tell the future! It’s rare indeed that I back a horse with limited experience but something tells me ‘Posses’ at the long long odds of 64/1 could secure a placed finish in the 8:57. Of course you’ll have noticed by now I prefer to tip big outsiders to finish in the places rather than short odds winners and this 2 year old fillie with one win out of one run to date may suprise all in America this evening. I won’t put the house on her but certainly a few quid!

Who ate all the pies? Planet z did, but even at a heavy weight can do well in the 8:48!
October 18th, 2005
It shows how talented and well trained this Clan horse is that even at the massive weight of 136 lbs the bookies still consider him good enough to be second favourite at 6/1. Planet Z has had some fantastic days on fast going including a legendary win back on the 24th of June leaving a classy field in his wake. Hasn’t has too many runs over fast since then and will welcome a return to this going though may prefer a couple more furlongs. Good enough for a placed finish even with Johnny Vegas riding him!

Whats in a name? Faster than light to do well in the 10:48 at 17/2

Granted this hanian trained colt is one of the heaviest horses in the field but at 17/2 he’s hard to avoid. Strong, composed and reliable he has won 2 and been placed in 3 of his 6 races so far. Faster than Light hasn’t tried his hand on yielding so far but I think his obvious quality will shine through.

Raced yesterday so perhaps fitness may be waining abit however too attractive to avoid. Has had wins on muddy and firm , can he add a win on yielding to his impressive little collection, tune into Getminted on Sky Channel 235 to find out and hopefully earn a few pounds as well. I’m predicting a placed finish here as fitness may rule out a win.

Why is Grand Master coming in at such long odds!
October 17th, 2005
I’m a bit worried that the bookies know something I dont. How can Grand Master be rated at 54/1 in the 8:57 in Australia. Granted the distance of 2 miles is a bit longer than he is used to but still huge odds. Lets hope its just an oversight on their part. Has won 3 and been placed in 1 of 5 races to date. One of these wins came on yielding which is the going we have in Australia this evening. We should never look a virtual gift horse in the mouth so I’m going for Grand Master for a placed finish.

Hallowed Ground to run well in the 8:36 in Angleterre!
October 17th, 2005
Diablo racing has always been one of the most exciting owners Getminted racing has I find, they unveil crackers as often as I have hot dinners and Hollowed Ground is the latest off the conveyor belt. Granted this 2 year old colt is yet to find his first victory but he has notched up 6 placed finishes out of just 7 races which isn’t a bad return in anyones book. Has only raced on yielding once before, in his maiden trip in Hong Kong when he came 2nd by 2 lengths behind Celtic Shamrock. Has come so close to victory in the last few races and the duck might finally be broken tonight but being cautious I’m going for an each way punt at 7/1.

Kiss me quick she said and I didn’t need to be asked twice!!!

Well is this the longshot of the night? I think it may well be. Kiss me Quick in the 9:48 is rated at 22/1 by the bookies, a price most would agree is lunacy. This Ken Allen’s trained 7 year old Fillie has had a recent win on fast all be it in a claimer in the USA on the 28th of last month.

However fast is not the favoured going for Kiss me quick and so I think a placed finish is more likely. Best of luck tonight to all you owners and punters alike.

Loch Garman loves Fast going, nice odds for him in the 9:36 in Dubai
October 16th, 2005
I bet the Dr O B stable has been looking forward to this race for some time now. Their 3 year old colt may cause a shock in this strong field and at 12/1 Loch Garman looks good value. A good relaible virtual horse he has won on nine runs and been placed 12 times out of 32 races in total. Is a fan of fast winning 4 of his first 6 races on this particular type of going. Has only raced twice in October so far so fitness will be on his side, a return to fast going will be very welcomed as he has struggled on muddy and yielding. At 12/1 though worth a few quid for an each way punt!

Uncertain about Uncertain smile but will give him the thumbs up in the 9:12
October 16th, 2005
‘Uncertain Smile’ is perhaps the most erratic horse I have ever seen on Getminted racing. The 4 year old colt has a tendancy to finish last then follow it up with a win before returning to last again. Form over fast going has been similarly up and down . Last time out won on fast in Canada defeating some excellent horses so I think at odds of 24/1 he must be fancied for a placd finish. Time will tell.

Virtual Horse Racing - Even better than the real thing! How to get involved in Getminted Racing

If you are new to Getminted Racing and are wondering how do I get my own horse and indeed stable then its easy! The first thing to do as you may have done already is to log onto Getminted Racing , the site is easy to use and informative and will point you in the right direction.

New owners must register their details before purchasing their first horse which is free. Once you have that horse it's up to you to maximise its performance and hopefully get minted! You get to name your horse, choose it's gender and age. Then you design the silks, usually best done by a lady since some of our mensfolk's silks look a tad horrific!

Once you feel your virtual horse is ready to race having trained him/her over different types of going and distance you must nominate it in a race. Choose the race carefully, there is no point entering a new horse in a race with experienced ones who have perfected their style. Then sit back, watch sky channel 235's Getminted programme and cross your fingers!

Punters should visit the Getminted website as well. Here you will see like with other bookies etc you can register giving your details before opening up an account. Then you scroll through the racecard before deciding which horse you want to have a flutter on. The amount you wish to flutter is deducted from your account and winnings added to it. Many punters prefer choosing an outsider to perform well rather than opt for dead cert favourites at short odds.

The very best of luck to new owners and punters alike! Look below for tonight's tips!

The heavy Indianapolis colt to storm past contenders in last race of the night!

Well the finale of tonight’s Getminted show on Sky Channel 235 is poised to spring a big suprise. Despite being one of the heaviest horses in the line up and not really rated by the bookies I believe Indianapolis colt could mount a serious challenge at odds of 10/1.

Has 6 wins so far in his career and 4 of them have come over muddy going. If he can handle the weight then colt should do well and register a placed finish at the very least. Recent form has been steady without being brilliant. The latest of the 6 wins came over fast on the 30th of September in a claimer in Canada. Still a win here in the 10:55 could see a star in the making!

Groundbreaker to finally perform over Firm
October 14th, 2005
The results on firm going for Groundbreaker stand out like a sore thumb in an otherwise excellent history. He has handled all other types of going in style but for one reason or another finds firm a bridge too far. I think that will be rectified tonight in the 9:57. With 5 wins and 2 placed finishes from just 11 races the class of this horse is not in doubt and odds of 8/1 are generous in the extreme.

Also in this race keep an eye out for Regal Beacon at 11/1. This cool customer from the Sir Charles Stable is finding it hard to put a foot wrong and is enjoying a purple patch. Last time out on firm was on the 7th of September when he regisitered a fine win out of a full field of 14. A placed finish likely here.

The horse the owners dont want to keep and other owners dont want to buy to prove her worth tonight!
October 14th, 2005
The stats for ‘Lysander queen’ make strange reading. In her 37 race career this 3 year old fillie has raced in an amazing 13 claiming races. Its by far and away the highest number of claimers I have ever seen a horse race in. In saying that though she has ability and likes soft going. Last time out on this type of going was back on the 7th of September all be it in a claimer and over a longer distance but still she won in a field of 6. While she is ceratinly no better than an average horse I expect her to get a placing tonight in the 8:57 and at odds of 28/1 could cause a real suprise!

Jammed Lovely loves the going and at generous odds is hard not to back in the 9:24

Theres such a fine line between being a good horse and a great horse, Jammed Lovely is positioned right on it. A lover of 2nd placed finishes she has a 48% place to run ratio with 32 placed finishes out of 67 runs. Has always fared well on fast going but hasn’t run on this type of ground since the 5th of September when she came 4th out of 8 in Dubai

At 9/1 the bookies fear she is out of her depth but nothing could be further from the truth. Expect a big run and a placed finish, probably 2nd. She needs to start notching up a few more wins though to move into the “great bracket”. On another note Ireland were poor last night in their World Cup qualifier against Switzerland and deserve not to go to Germany, I’m backing Ghana to do well next Summer!

Sugar loaf at a sweet price
October 13th, 2005
With only 18 races under his belt so far we are yet to see the best of Sugar loaf. Has ample experience over fast ground and most of these run outs have produced some return. A strange line up here as there seems to be a huge gap in ability between the top 4 horses and the rest. Has passed the finishing line first on 5 occassions with one of them coming over fast back on the 2nd of August in a strong field of 14. At 11/2 he’s worth a flutter for a placed finish at the very least.

BTT Kingzilla , a good price in the 8:36 in Dubai
October 13th, 2005
Its a pity there aren’t a few more horses running in this particular race as a place would be a certainty for this Lister trained entrant. As it is the bookies are offering the very generous price of 10/1 for BTT Kingzilla and a win is well within this old experiend colt’s abilities. This incidentally is race number 100 for him, to date 12 wins and 44 placed finishes with many of his finest displays coming over this going and distance. I fancy him to do well and a win is on the cards.

Kempes to get placed in the 9:36 and the Republic of Ireland to beat Switzerland tonight in Landsdowne Road!

Yes double trouble. Kempes is certainly a handy young virtual animal. Has only had 4 runs but in the time has impressed on two of those winning on the 3rd of October on Fast in Canada and over Muddy 4 days ago in the USA. Bookies say he’s worth 20/1 and at those odds an each way flutter is attractive. Is also used to this distance and if he can handle a wee bit of extra weight should do very well indeed.

Meanwhile I think Ireland will win by two clear goals tonight against Switzerland to book a place in the World Cup play offs! However this wish and prediction comes from the heart rather than the head so perhaps it is one to be avoided. Regardless COME ON IRELAND!!!!!

Every chance for Nae Chance in the 9:12
October 12th, 2005
The bookies are dangling a carrot in front of me in the 9:12. At 44/1 the Angelic Diablo stable’s ‘Nae Chance’ represents delicious value! In 15 races so far he has won on 3 times and has been placed 6 times proving it was a shrewd purchase by the owners. After a horrid two runs on muddy going he turned around these performances finishing second both on the 22nd and the 24th of September. Well rested he hasnt run since the 1st of October when he won on soft here in the U.K. Worth an each way flutter friends!

Irish horse to shine under the Australian sun!
October 12th, 2005
Well what a voyage of discovery lies ahead for Peagus tonight. The Irish horse from the Beaker stable has been a revelation so far but only on the yielding going. In just three races the 2 year old colt has won twice and just been edged out into second once showing a maturity well beyond hid young years. The bookies have two main reasons for placing him at 17/2, firstly a lack of experience on good and secondly this is a longer distance than he used to. However inspite of these mitigating factors I believe Peagus can be placed at these generous odds.

Big odds in the 21:12

With a field of 14 horses and some really big odds - the 21:12 race could be the one for a great each way.

I’ve picked out a few possibilities:

Jug Ears from HALA MADRID is experienced and has some ok recent form, Shabernak from Abaddon has surprised in the past and comes from a good stable and One Won One from Diablo Racing at smaller odds looks good.

Hangover

Two quick tips for the 20:12 race this evening

All Day Drinker from DVDMAN1 - has good recent form and at odds of 33/10 may be worth a shout. Also in the same race the Tanky horse contemporary lad at 4/1. Tanky has shown that he has the ability to become a great stable - a recent addition to the Getminted fore he's had some great wins and places with other horses, so this one could be worth a look.

TRICAST trip up

I thought it was going to be an easy win last night, it all started well with Barracuda Kiah winning the first race, but then my other tips failed to make the mark.

With small fields for first two the races will there finally be a winner tonight?

My tips are:

21:36 - OkZ The Clan
21:48 - Broken Duck Black Gate Stable
21:57 - Pure Nuts Menace

Good luck

Lady Killer Divine

The legendary Ken Allan horse Lady Killer is running tonight in the 20:24, but at 9/10 odds on favourite the takings wont be huge.

A few other choice pickings in the same race may be: Divina from ASTURTEAM at 5/1 it’s had some good recent form.

And for a possible each way you might want to take a look at Enelya Inglorion fromTimA at 36/1

TRICAST triumvirate

The TRICAST just keeps on rolling and rolling. Might we have a winner soon, or will we keep having surprise race results from outsiders?

My selection tonight is:

21:36 - Barracuda Kiah ADM Racing - a strong and experienced horse from a good stable.
21:48 - Regal Amelia Sir Charles - some good recent form
21:57 - Claret N Blue heinz - the best of a mediocre bunch?

I put a spell on you

We all know how successful Ken Allan’s Stables are, so a nice little tip at 4/1 in the opening race of the Getminted live show may be Spellbound. Can it put a spell on the other horses and come home first?

A good possible each way for the same race could be Threeputted 18th from clive79. At 24/1 it’s had a few wins in the past and is quite an experienced horse.

Another good night! I’m on fire but can Royal Envoy keep the flames burning!

All in all its been the best week I’ve had as a tipster, horses were placed at 46/1, 38/1, 14/1, 7/2 and 6/1 so I’ve justified my existence at least! If my form keeps going I might throw a christmas party for all the owners! I think that Royal Envoy at 34/1 may well keep the good run going in the 10:24 in America

He has had excellent form on muddy in the past and will like this distance.A 7 year old colt he’ll need all his experience to do well in this strong field but a placed finish is certainly not beyond him.

Barracuda Kiah to leave the bookies in tears!
October 8th, 2005
This ADM trained horse has had some good days on muddy going. Though he has only raced on muddy on three occassions he has notched up two wins in that time. Recent form has been patchy but the ability is certainly there. At 12/1 Barracuda Kiah is worth an each way flutter. Also keep an eye out for Ekraar at 38/1 , either of these getting a place will have you shaking your stuff on this saturday night!

Regal Beacon to guide the victory home in the 9:12 in America!
October 8th, 2005
Fitness allowing Regal Beacon at 5/1 is well capable of winning the 9:12. This 2 year old colt has had an excellent recent run finding it hard not to win. Ran two days ago in Hong Kong and finished second. On the 28th of last month left the rest of the full field for dead when he won on the Canadian track over muddy going. With 7 wins and 8 placed finishes from 21 runs so far he is running up a storm and I’m going to back him for a placed finish as weight fitness levels may not be up to their best.

Dallas 1 scoops Monthly Award in style, LUFC said to be close to tears!

What a trainer Dallas1 is. When you see the pink silks lining up in a race it's hard to divert your eyes elsewhere because you know his horse will be a danger to all. In the last month Dallas1 has notched up 120 wins, an average of 4 a day!

Lower Slaughter wins the The Oaks 3Y F - 1 on the 30th of July earning Dallas1 stable massive EUR 1,230.00

His season's total comes in at 257 already, sheer class and dedication. We spoke to Dallas1 on Sky Channel 235's getminted racing during the week and he's a great guy and a master when it comes to training winners.

Elsewhere the trainers Abbadon and Diablo Racing fared well in the last month. Indeed the top horse came from the Abbadon stable, it being 'Samael' who entered the winner's enclosure on 6 occassions.

With new owners joining all the time perhaps the top owners will find its getting a bit hotter in the kitchen. In the last week I've been impressed with Bondage Babe's return to winning ways, Baywalker has found a level of consistency which wasn't there initially and LUFC continues to ruffle feathers on and off the track!

Remember guys the Tri-cast challenge still stands at 500 pounds. Last night 3 owners fell at the final hurdle when it came to picking the three correct winners. Watch Getminted between 8 and 11 each week day evening to find out how to enter.

Also let me know what issues you would like me to address here on the blog by posting them in the 'Questions and answers' forum on the getminted webiste. Mark them F/O Graham and I'll try to answer questions where possible. Also if you wish to submit a short article or if you have any scandal on another owner (innocent scandal of course!) then let me know using the same method.

Best of luck to all including our news owners from Birmingham 'Sal and Claire'!

What a week! Last night Hayfield home got a place at 48/1! Expect Will to Win to keep the good run going!

At 46/1 Hayfield Home’s great result last night was fantastic. I love it with the bookies get it so wrong but yours truly gets it right. Thats 3 long shots coming in over the last three nights. At the shorter odds of 7/2Will to win’ could do just that in the 10:48.

Has had a good run recently with 3 wins in his last 5 but two of those including the win on yielding on the 28th of September were in claimers. Still this 3 year old colt is getting to like the attention it recieves in the winners enclosure and could end up there again tonight. Cautious punters may favour an each way punt.

Father Thomas good enough to win the 10:24 in America!
October 7th, 2005
While this 5 year old colt’s last run out on muddy going was one to forget he generally does well on this ground. A winner last time out on fast he has recorded 15 wins from 68 runs as well as 17 placed finishes. However the bookies aren’t convinced placing Father Thomas at odds of 6/1. Was edged out of 1st place by Threeputted 18th on muddy back on the 23rd of September when the win looked in the bag so I expect a good performance today. As I said good enough for a win but the smart money is on a placed finish!

Waves of applause imminent for Celtic Ocean!
October 7th, 2005
Sometimes long odds are just too tasty to be avoided. Celtic Ocean at 40/1 looks good value in the 8:57 in Hong Kong. While the majority of success for this Baywalker trained horse has come over a shorter distance he likes this going. On the 1st of this month Celtic Ocean recorded a fine victory on this very track in yielding conditions beating a full field of 14 in silky style. As a trainer Baywalker have begun to take the eye after a shakey start. I expect Celtic Ocean to run well and get aplace at these very long odds.

Another good night for yours truly as Infested waters at 14/1 got placed but can Limerick Leader keep the good run going?

At 14/1 Infested water’s 2nd place finish last night was a sight to behold, at one stage I thought I was going to have a shock winner but I’m delighted none the less. In the 10:36 I have faith in the new horse Limerick Leader. Did you know it’s the name of the local paper in the Irish city of Limerick? A great city it is with fantastic people.

Anyway at 14/1 this 2 year old colt has had 2 wins out of 3 runs including a fine victory last time out in England out of a full field of 14. Good each way punt. Also watch out for Dayjur in the 10:12 , looking to make it 3 wins on the trot (pardon the pun!)

Its been a good week for Bondage Babe but will it continue?
October 6th, 2005
Has the tide turned in the Bondage Babe stable? A great win on Tuesday with Non Conformist II was followed up with a good win for Flash Dance who is lining up again tonight in the 8:48 in America. The most inexperienced horse in the field he has landed the best draw but over 2 miles it might not count for much. At 9/2 this 2 year old is worth a flutter for an each way finish at least. Would have gone for another win but tiredness may be a factor.

Hayfield home to turn around form on firm in the 8:24
October 6th, 2005
Theres no arguing with the success of Hayfield home. A newcomer in many ways he has put in some excellent exciting runs in recent times and has notched up 10 wins and 15 placed finishes out of 40 runs to date. Its no secret that this 3 year old colt has struggled over firm in the past but I think that hurdle will have been overcome ahead of tonights showdown against some of the best horses on the getminted scene. At 46/1 it’s worth a small flutter for a placed finish.

THAT WINNING FEELING COULD BE YOURS!

You can't beat that winning feeling. Last night one of our more flamboyant owners Dawn better know as Bondagebabe experienced that feeling of euphoria . Her 4 year old colt 'Non Conformist II' finally found the determination to secure an elusive win after waiting for 5 months to enter the winner's enclosure. Other owners who had a flutter on the horse were lining up on the forum to congratulate the lovely Dawn while husband Brian looked on with a tear in his eye! Dawn asked for a 'BIG' bottle of vodka from one of the lucky punters but if Non Conformist II sticks to winning ways she can buy everything in her local off-licence!

Dawn asked for a 'BIG' bottle of vodka from one of the lucky punters but if Non Conformist II sticks to winning ways she can buy everything in her local off-licence!

The plight of Dawn's horse prior to the race may also apply to one of yours. Peppering the winning line and putting in good time trials in training your entrant may struggle to get that elusive victory. Some owners decide to enter the horse in claiming races, basically putting them in the shop window for other owners to try their luck with your frustrating purchase. However if you persevere and continue to prime your horse over the optimum going and distance then it may well turn the corner.

Last night on getminted racing on Sky Channel 235 we talked to Karl, the owner who goes by the name 'Catlikething'. He let us in on a secret amongst the top trainers saying that he rarely buys horses from the sales ring but instead picks them up in claiming races and at auctions. Indeed the same practice can be seen from the Dallas 1 stable, the Ken Allen's stable and similar succesful enthusiasts but similarly you can get lucky and buy a real winner in the sales ring.

Don't forget the Tri Cast challenge is up to 500 Pounds in credit so tune in to getminted tonight and try to forecast who will win the three consecutive races. The Presenters will give you all the information you need. Last night owners Dommo and Dallas1 came so so close to claiming the prize but missed out on the third and final race.

Finally guys and gals I need you to send your comments in so I can answer your questions and generally chat about how the game is going and hear your views. Just post them on the questions and answers forum on the getminted homepage and I will address them here. Getminted racing's live show is gathering pace and viewers nightly and we want to hear from you. Tell us what you would like to see on the show and how you rate the presenters. We are trying hard to satisfy the needs of our owners and punters but without your feedback it'll be difficult so get typing and best of luck with the ggs, be they real or virtual!

After last nights great result for the tipster will Dream Kancha make it one of those weeks!

Celebrations in the Clifford household last night as Easygoing got a precious place at 36/1 as predicted. At the much shorter odds of 6/1 I fancy Dream Kancha to bring home the bacon in the 10:24 in England

Out of the excellent Ken Allen’s stable this is a horse not to be underestimated. With 2 wins and 3 placed finishes out of just 7 races this 2 year old colt is running on his favoured ground. I’m going for an each way on this one but a win is not out of the question.

Does Glory await for the Catlikething trained horse!
October 5th, 2005
Glory awaits had a fantastic win back on the 22nd of September on soft going in Australia over 2 miles so the same conditions exist this evening in Hong Kong. Such was the imprtance of that win that some were placing the 4 year old fillie in the ‘one of the greats’ category. So can that run be replayed tonight, why not. Hasn’t run in three days and will be eager to notch up win number 9. I think it will happen at 6/1 and drive the virtual crowd in Hong Kong virtually mad!

Dont go into the water at around 8:24 this evening
!
October 5th, 2005
Well a field of inexperienced and relatively unsuccesful horses lining up to do battle in Hong Kong at 8:24. I watched some of these colts racing yesterday and was unimpressed. That’s why I’m going for Infested waters at 14/1 to at least nail a placed finish. Has never raced on soft going so far but has got 2 placed finishes over muddy and fast in big strong fields. Ran just 2 days ago so may be a bit on the tired side but so are many others in this field.

Easygoing to do well even with low fitness level!

Okay so Easygoing ran yesterday and may be a wee bit tired but how can she be avoided at odds of 36/1. Yesterdays race was a claimer and this horse won’t have to wait long for a buyer with the runs she’s been putting in. An amazing 6 wins and 4 placed finishes out of 11 runs says it all

The most recent win on Fast came back on the 12th of September in Canada over this very distance when she beat ‘Lady of the Lamp’ who is running tonight also. I expect ‘Easygoing’ to do well, a placed finish on the cards but don’t rule out the win for her in the 10:12.

Is Frank a legend? Time will tell!
October 4th, 2005
Well you won’t find any world beaters in the 9:48 in Canada thats for sure. However this paves the way for a horse at long odds to do well. I fancy ‘Frank the legend’ to feature at the nice odds of 10/1. The most experienced horse in the race he has 5 placed finishes from 13 runs including a credible performance back on the 12th of September when he finished 3rd out of a decent field in the USA. Good enough to claim victory but perhaps a placed finish is more likely.

Despite weight Ten to the dozen looks strong in the 9:36 in Canada!
October 4th, 2005
Coming in at 132 lbs ‘Tento the dozen’ will have to handle the weight well if he’s going to do well here but I think he can. The odds for this colt come in at 9/1 so the bookies disagree thinking he will struggle to stay with the early leaders over this long distance. While recent form has dipped the Heinz trained 3 year old has recorded his best performances over fast and won last time on on this going in the USA out of a field of 10 all be it in a claimer. I think he has the ability to get a placed finish here if all goes well and the jockey doesn’t consume any more deep fried battered sausage before racetime

Angel to send rest of field to oblivion!

Great name, good horse. Angel of Oblivion has only won once in her 9 races to date but has notched up 6 placed finishes in that time. The interesting thing in the 10:36 sprint in Hong Kong is that none of these horses enter the ‘great’ category so big money can and will be made by shrewd punters.

At 25/1 this adoc trained fillie looks good value. She won her last two races though the last race on the 28th of September was in a claimer. Still a placed finish here would start your week off well and a win would impress the bank mananger beyong belief!

Ah isn’t it grand!

It’s funny how some horses just take your eye and you find it hard to bet against them. Grand Account enters that glorious bracket. He may be second favourite in the 9:24 but the odds are sweet at 5/1.Last time out on good going was here in Hong Kong on the 22nd of September when he was nudged out out 1st place by Poison Arrow who is also running this evening. At a good weight and looking for win number 5 I think Grand Account will come close and fancy a placed finish here.

One won One to get his career back on track!

The owners of this 12/1 shot are just about ready to sell him if he doesn’t pull out a big performance. One Won One hasn’t had a good run in competitive racing now for some time but has shown flashes of his brilliant best in claimers. How often do we see a horse coming back from a good run in claimers to turn that form into competitive wins and placed finishes? Diablo racing may believe that this colt has slowly but surely returned to form and at these odds is worth a flutter in the 8:12 in England.

Calling the star witness!

In the same race (the 9:36 in Hong Kong) you might fancy Star Witness for a placed finish. 5/1 are the odds here as he has never run on soft going before.

In the same race (the 9:36 in Hong Kong) you might fancy Star Witness for a placed finish. 5/1 are the odds here as he has never run on soft going before. Out of 11 runs the witness has had 3 wins and 7 placed finishes which is an impressive return. 3 of these placed finishes came on yielding going which indictaes soft won’t be too mcuh of a problem for the Jump Farm stables colt. A place likely.
