Kempes to get placed in the 9:36 and the Republic of Ireland to beat Switzerland tonight in Landsdowne Road!

Yes double trouble. Kempes is certainly a handy young virtual animal. Has only had 4 runs but in the time has impressed on two of those winning on the 3rd of October on Fast in Canada and over Muddy 4 days ago in the USA. Bookies say he’s worth 20/1 and at those odds an each way flutter is attractive. Is also used to this distance and if he can handle a wee bit of extra weight should do very well indeed.

Meanwhile I think Ireland will win by two clear goals tonight against Switzerland to book a place in the World Cup play offs! However this wish and prediction comes from the heart rather than the head so perhaps it is one to be avoided. Regardless COME ON IRELAND!!!!!

Every chance for Nae Chance in the 9:12

The bookies are dangling a carrot in front of me in the 9:12. At 44/1 the Angelic Diablo stable’s ‘Nae Chance’ represents delicious value! In 15 races so far he has won on 3 times and has been placed 6 times proving it was a shrewd purchase by the owners. After a horrid two runs on muddy going he turned around these performances finishing second both on the 22nd and the 24th of September. Well rested he hasnt run since the 1st of October when he won on soft here in the U.K. Worth an each way flutter friends!

Irish horse to shine under the Australian sun!
October 12th, 2005
Well what a voyage of discovery lies ahead for Peagus tonight. The Irish horse from the Beaker stable has been a revelation so far but only on the yielding going. In just three races the 2 year old colt has won twice and just been edged out into second once showing a maturity well beyond hid young years. The bookies have two main reasons for placing him at 17/2, firstly a lack of experience on good and secondly this is a longer distance than he used to. However inspite of these mitigating factors I believe Peagus can be placed at these generous odds.
