RULES FOR THE ACHIEVER AWARDS

These Awards were judged on the following criteria:

1) An Owner can win only one of the categories under the Top Owner section of the competition. It is however possible for an Owner to win the 50/100 wins reached in the season as well as a Top Owner award.
2) A horse can win only one category under the horses section. Although it is possible for one owner to own one or more winning horses under the 'Horses' section.
3) If an Owners horse wins more than one award category then the award for the Top Owner or Horse by wins/runs will be assigned to the runner-up owner or horse.
4) If two members are at level pegging for the Top Owner/Horse by Wins categories then the winning Owner/Horse is the one who has achieved the most wins in the least number of runs.
5) Regarding the Top Owner by Win/Runs% category (Monthly):
A) Owner needs a minimum of 20 runs to qualify.
B) If two or more horses are equal, the winner is the one that has the highest earnings.
6) Regarding the Top Horse by Win/Runs% category (Monthly):
A) A horse needs a minimum of 10 runs in order to qualify.
B) If two or more horses are equal the winner is the one that has the highest earnings.
7) The 50/100 wins category refers to the cumulative number of wins for the season thus far.

Presenter Profile- Ceri Barnett

As if we didn't already know.....where were you born?! Blackwood, Wales.

What other work do you have Ceri? My main job is that of a football reporter for various radio and TV programmes....these include Sport on Five for BBC Radio Five Live, Sportstime and Midweek Sport for BBC Radio Wales and 2W Sport for BBC Wales television. I also do the odd report for Football Focus on BBC 1 and I do the occasional 606 programme on BBC Radio Five Live where I read out the texts and e-mails. I have also presented several sports programmes in Wales for tv and radio for both the BBC and ITV Wales.

When you're not calling home the gg's on Getminted how do you like to spend your time?Sport, sport and more sport!! I love watching all sports!! Football is my first love, always watching football!! I also play and am queen of the keepie uppies!! I cycle a lot, well I cycle everyday if I can!! My halo does slip though and I like going out with my friends....I work hard but play hard!!

What's your favourite part about working on Getminted?
Working with the lovely Gareth and Dave and all my wonderful co-presenters!! I love all the interaction with the owners though be it via text or when we get them on the phone!! Special mention to Dallas 1 and Lord Jinxy!!

Funniest moment on Getminted?Too many to mention. However on one show Graham had difficulty with ahorse called 'Gobby Dick', inadvertantly said it was tickling the back of his throat!

Where were born Gabe? London

What other jobs have you had? Director and Producer in T.V. and film, football Commentator and also an SAS Frogman, Dan Wheeler got me into it!

When you're not calling home the gg's how do you like to spend your time? Playing sport, I also like film, poker, music and (recreational drugs!!!)

Favourite part about being a Getmintend Presenter? Working with Dan, he may be boring but he makes me laugh!!!!!!

Funniest aspect of the live show? Watching Grahams cheeks get redder abd redder as he commentates!

New years resolution : Personal ! (as a Sunderland supporter his answer should be supporting another club!)

What other jobs have you done? Sports reporter, Crowd control manager at Worcestershire Cricket Club oh and SAS Frogman!

When you're not calling home the ggs what do you like to do? I play alot of Cricket, football, reading, writing and especially speaking- speaking is great!

What are your favourite parts about being a Getminted Presenter? Fellow presenters such as Gabe, Graham, Mike and Ceri crack me up- I especially enjoy Ceri's stories, though not the ones about Wales obviously!

Funniest moments on Getminted - Wow thats a hard one, there have been so many perhaps dressing up as a superhero on a show with Gabe Turner or doing Getminted with guest presenter, former England cricket captain Tony Greig

Where you were born? Eastbourne (yes really !)

Where else have you worked ?Worked in commercial radio sport for 20 years - reporting two Olympics, two World Cups, two Royal Funerals,and far too many football riots !.
In the dim and distant past I was a Press Officer for Her Majesty's Government - yes I was a Spin Doctor !

Apart from calling home the gg's on Getminted what else do you like to do? - I play competitive league table tennis - please don't call it ping pong or I will release the bats !
Listening to live folk music - but ..... I have never stuck my finger in my ear !

Whats your favourite part of being a Getminted presenter? - watching Ceri do her make-up before the show starts - an artist at work !
