Casting an Irish eye over events!
Well this weeks tips are coming from Ireland as I'm home for a few days. Perhaps the luck of the Irish will rub off on me as I try to pick the winners and long shot placed contenders. I'm still celebrating my success with 501 on Thursday and why not! Anyway for all tonight's top tips please click on read more....
Tingo - 11/1 - 8:24
The recent form of the 2 year old colt from the Clarky's stable suggests he'll put in a strong performance today. In 11 races to date he may have only won once - on the 2nd of March in Canada- but he's also been placed in 4 so his quality isn't in doubt. Last time out on muddy which he will face this evening Tingo finished just over half a length behind the winner in Dubai and will be hoping to go one better this evening.
Burberry Boy - 8:48 - 15/1
I don't know if this jockey will be wearing his burberry tonight but it would be a getminted first if he was. The Grade 2 two year old colt has impressed in his 14 races to date, winning in 4 and being placed in 4. Tonight in the 8:48 in Australia he'll run over yielding. The last time Burberry Boy went out on yielding he won in a strong field on this very track on the 14th of March. The odds seem excessively long for him tonight and I think a placed finish is very likely indeed.
Pink N' Preety - 9:36 -17/2
Can't say Im the world's biggest fan of the name but I'd gladly suffer it to have this 2 year old fillie in a stable if I was allowed to have one! In 10 races in her career so far shes won in 4 and been placed in 4 displaying a cutting edge ahead of her young years. Has won three of her last five races and while some of them weren't in the strongest of fields its still a very impressive feat. When last out on good going she won in Hong Kong over two weeks ago and should go close this evening at these long odds.
