Gabe Turner- the legend will live on!

Yes I know alot of our owners have sent into kind messages wishing our James Bond/Phil Mitchell character Gabe Turner all the best as he's moving on to greener pastures. I wish to add my voice to theirs. Gabe is one hell of a guy, always in good form, always thinking of the owners and always on hand to brighten up shows. He's a dream to work with as any pre-prepared plans go out the window and you just have a great laugh presenting beside him. I hope Gabe can drop in to say hello from time to time and I wish him all the best in everything he does. As a Sunderland supporter though my heart goes out to him, perhaps Gabe will be signed up by the Black Cats before long!

Dancing Shadow - 8:12 - 22/1

This horse has been a revelation for the ron and tam stable. In 6 races to date the 2 year old colt has registered two wins and three placed finishes. He's only been out on muddy twice before. Last time out on this going he came second in Canada over 2 miles and finished just a third of a length behind the eventual winner. He went one better on the 19th of March picking up his second win. At 22/1 the bookies are concerned that he might become a small fish in a big pond as he moves from juvenille level but at these odds its hard not to believe in him. A placed finish well possible.

Ockenfold - 8:57 - 11/1

This could be the horse to win you the tri-cast challenge at 8:57. In 15 races he's been placed 8 times, thats a 53% place to run ratio. Add to this 2 wins and you can see why alot of people believe Ockenfold offers great value at 11/1. He's never been out on good before but the 2 year old colt from the Maximas stable should be able to deal with the going. Consistent and solid he won't let the side down and if he doesn't win should finish in the places.

Sally Traffic - 9:24 - 11/2

I'm a big fan of this one out of the Bryan1969 stable. My fellow Liverpool fan trains his charges well and Sally Traffic has been steadily improving earning £534 for this fine stable to date. One win and three placed finishes in the last five races shows you that the 3 year old grey fillie is one to watch. Last time out on good she won in style on the 13th of March in Hong Kong destroying a full field of 14. Total stats read 61 runs, 14 wins and 29 placed finishes. I firmly believe Sally Traffic could run this race on the cold shoulder to pick up win number 15 but the more cautious of you might go for an each way punt.
