A little too adventurous me thinks!

Well after four great nights on the trot I think last nights tips were a little too adventurous! Perhaps I underestimated the bookies a tad! Anyway lets hope for better luck this evening. Once again all eyes will turn to channel 850 at 8pm for two hours of high quality virtual racing. It's fun, it's fast and it's a great way of making some much needed cash. For all tonight's Getminted racing simply click on Read More...

Orb Electric - 8:48 - 10/1

Bought from the Orb stable on the 23rd of December last year this 4 year old colt has been doing well without setting the world alight. Won his last race on fast in the USA three days ago decimating a full field of 14. Total stats read 75 runs , 9 wins and 32 placed finishes. How important it would be for the Maximum147 stable if Orb Electric could make it into the double figures in terms of wins. Firm hasn't always been his favoured going but tonight Orb Electric could continue the winning ways however a placed finish is more likley.

Dream Well - 9:36 - 11/1

Make no mistake about it Dream well likes the firm going. In a career which has yielded ten wins two of them have come in races on firm though this 3 year old colt rarely runs on this going. Wins recently have been few and far between though the last came just two weeks ago when Dream well won on muddy in Dubai. 9 wins and 16 placed finishes from 39 races indicates he could run well tonight at nice odds of 11/1.

Perseus (USA) - 9:48 - 24/1

Whoops, my adventurous streak is back again! However when you look at the recent form of this Astec racing colt you have to admit he's hard to avoid with a wee flutter at these long odds.In 24 runs since being bought on the 30th of October last year by initial owners Negus the 3 year old has picked up 11 wins and 8 placed finishes. The auction fee paid for Perseus incidentally was £122 so the new owners expect good things from him. While yielding isn't his favoured going I think Perseus is certainly good enough to nick a place in this race.
