Congratulations to Jaybone! but hard luck to SalnClaire!

Jaybone picked up £300 on the Tri-cast Challenge last night after correctly predicting the winners of the three chosen races. Not an easy task so when you get it right you're a lucky boy/girl! Imagine then how Sal and Claire in Birmingham felt when they correctly picked the three winners but as the text service was down their tips didn't come through. We'll keep our fingers crossed girls that you win soon and Gabe, Dave and I will deliver the credits personally!

Prince Beloverley - 8:24 - 11/2

What an experienced old boy this one is. Has been out 157 times with 31 wins and 66 placed finishes. Always consistent he won his last race out last saturday on soft going and though tonight's race will offer a very different challenge he should still do well at these odds of 11/2

I'll keep for now - 8:36 - 4/1

After reading DVDMAN1's posting last night on the forums I just have to back his girl. Neal has had an excellent run of form as an owner and 'I'll keep for now' may add to the impressive haul of wins and places for the stable. So far the 2 year old fillie has claimed victory in an amazing 10 races and has been placed in another 5 of the total trips raced. Hopefully she wont be too tired tonight. Well capable of victory though a placed finish more likely.

Miss Herr - 9:55 - 18/1

On a staggering run at the moment having won her last three races. The 5 year old fillie from the Hound Dog stable is looking to make it 4 wins on the trot. Well rested she hasn't been out since the 25th of January so watch her fly.

They won't be running on snow but it will be as exciting as the Winter Olympics!

Yes excellent fields are lining up for tonight's race card. Don't forget the TriCast Challenge is still standing at £300 so make sure to enter the competition on Getminted Racing tonight with me Graham Clifford and Gabe Turner. As I write this Wales are leading Scotland in the Six nations, Im sure a few of our loyal Scots fans wont be too happy if they lose tonight! My head would like to see a Welsh victory but my heart can't decide. Perhaps a draw would be the fairest result!

Cool Bay - 8:12 - 32/1

Now before you go Graham what the hell are you thinking! listen to my logic! Ive found a succession of suprising results in the 8:12 races over the last few weeks. I have no idea why this is and believe its more likely to be down to coincedence rather than anything else. Thats why Ive backed 'Cool Bay' from the Diablo Racing stable. In 11 runs this 2 year old fillie has won in 3 and been placed in 3. Has been very busy this month but did win in her last race back on the 9th in Hong Kong. Hopefully fitness levels will be decent and she'll challenge at these nice odds.

Dojrana (IRE) - 9:24 - 9/1

A solid performer this Beaker trained colt has been in fine form since being bought on the 1st of December. Granted his last race was disappointing when he finished 8th in Hong Kong but I'm confident it's a blip he can get over. I don't know if he's good enough to win tonight amidst some fine horses but believe he will finish in the places.

MGZR - 9:48 - 4/1

Lets just hope the old legs stay firm for this MGZR's third race in three days. The 6 year old colt has become part of the Getminted Racing Furniture winning 40 races and being placed in 44 out of a grand total of 119 runs. Always a challenger he should make others worry if running atall well. He won on muddy back on the 6th of February on muddy in Canada and will have no problem with this distance.

Exciting day on all sports fronts!

A feast of sporting action ahead for all enthusiasts today. The Six Nations brings together Ireland and France and you wouldn't win a prize for knowing who I'll be backing in that one. Our boys started off poorly with that narrow win over Italy but Eddie O Sullivan is a shrewd manager and you should see a different Ireland today, lets just hope we see the same French side that were blown away by a superb Scottish performance last Sunday. As I write this it's 0-0 between Wigan and Liverpool in the Premiership after 25 minutes and with a full line up of Premiership fixtures penciled in for today it's set to be a football fan's dream day. And then when you thought it couldn't get any better we have Getminted Racing on Sky Channel 279 between 8 and 10 pm! Ten excellent races for your enjoyment with all the thrills, rewards and tension of real racing.

Time Charter - 8:48 - 12/1

Well the actual 'Ollie Holloway' may be having a difficult time at QPR but I'm sure the horse owner 'Ollie Holloway' would be delighted to see his 6 year old fillie hit the headlines tonight in Hong Kong. In 95 runs she has emerged victorious 13 times and been placed in 40. A consistent and solid performer she has been entered in a number of claiming races of late but is strong over soft going. I expect her to finish in the places tonight.

Indrik the Beast - 8:57 - 26/1

What a run this 2 year old colt is on, after some poor form in the early part of January he got things right and has won the last three races in which he's run. The stats in total for this newcomer reads 10 runs, 3 wins and 1 placed finish. One of these wins came on muddy back on the 28th of January in the USA. Has only been out once this month so should be fully fit. Suprsied by these odds I have to say as Indrik the Beast from the Abaddon stable is a force to be reckoned with.

Kim - 9:12 - 15/2

Recent form for this 2 year old fillie has been very impressive. In 21 runs shes been a winner in 5 and found places in six. Granted she isn't the world's biggest fan of fast going but she should be able to handle it. Won her last two races though both were on muddy. Could well finish in the places this evening if she can continue to feature in the last few furlongs.

Getminted Racing, Even better than the real thing!

If these three tips don't win I promise to eat my hat (as I don't actually own such an accessory it's a shrewd promise to make!)Anyway how the hell is everybody?Hope your horses have been winning and that all of you are well. For the first time in a long time I can relate to Nolan and Boyle1972, while Everton were hammered at Chelsea we went down at the Valley to Charlton last night, a bleak night for the City of Liverpool it has to be said! However doom and gloom have no place on Getminted Racing and we're here to put a smile on your face. Don't forget to tune in to our live show between 8 and 10pm on Sky Channel 279.

Berto - 8:48 - 11/2

This 2 year old colt from the Dinopolly stable put all 4 feet up since last racing on the 31st of January. In 12 runs to date he has won in 5 and been placed in 3 showing a level of consistency which will please the owners. Crucially Berto has won 3 of his last 5 races including one on good going back on the 26th of last month in the UK. Perhaps he would favour a shorter distance but still is good enough to challenge for honours this evening.

The Contender - 8:57 - 28/1

Well I'm sure alot of money will be going on the Contender tonight at these great odds. Bellamy Stables will surely be suprised by the long odds but others will rub their hands in glee! In 15 runs the 3 year old fillie has been victorious in 4 and placed in 6. Indeed 2 of those 4 wins came on yielding going including a win in her last race at the track in Australia. Of course we will have yielding going tonight for this race and so the well rested Contender could at least claim a placed finish. She's only been out 4 times in 2006 so watch her move!

All the winners - 9:12 - 25/1

I'm going for another longshot in the 9:12 race with Morrie's 'All the winners' taking my eye. This young colt has been in excellent form of late in full fields. He hasn't finished outside the top three now in his last five races and if he could extend that great record to six races tonight he'd put smiles on faces at these big odds. In nine runs he's won just once (in his last race) but has been placed in four. Certainly he should have a chance of a placed finish tonight.

It takes the three wise men to deliver the perfect presents!

I was more than satisfied with the fine runs of The white Ferret, Semtex and Father Thomas last night who all finished in the places. It was a while coming after a poor run of form for yours truly, a feeling I'm not used to having! Anyway hopefully last night's wise old heads kick-started a good run of tipping that will continue for the rest of the month.

King Lummox - 8:36 - 11/1

This 3 year old just needs an extra push to get people to stand up and take notice of his massive potential. In his 14 races to date King Lummox has won on 3 occassions and finished in the places in 6. Was a winner last time out in a race on fast going in the USA. A step up in class for tonight's encounter but he's well capable of giving a good show of himself and finishing in the places at nice odds.

Bahara (UAE) - 8:48 - 11/2

Has had a nice rest since his last race at the end of January and should start off at an electric pace in the 8:48 race this evening. He actually won in that last race down under. In all the 4 year old from the Coolmore Operation stable has won in 9 and been placed in 11 of his 51 runs. Tempremental but gifted Bahara won his last race on good going on the 17th of November in Hong Kong with an awesome display. In terrific form at the moment and could win.

Diappointment - 9:36 - 10/1

You normally wouldn't expect too much from a horse with a name like this but with 30 wins and 71 places from 167 runs, the name seems very ill placed. This experienced 6 year old colt was a winner when last out on good in the 'Chinese New Year' Classic in Hong Kong. Raced yesterday finishing in third on muddy in the USA but will relish a return to good going for this evenings race.

Three experienced heads to do the business tonight!

You can't beat experience I've been told! Well my three tips tonight have that in abundance. I need them to run to form to buck the recent trend! Fingers crossed for a good showing from all three.

Semtex - 8:12 - 12/1

Father Thomas - 8:36 - 11/2

The White Ferret - 5/1

All three have proved their class time and time again though recent forms for has dipped slightly for some. Good fields tonight will make it difficult for them but I fancy all three to run well and go mighty close.

Sunday Night tips for the weary punter!

The last time I predicted my beloved Liverpool would win they lost to a late goal from Rio Ferdinand at Old Trafford so ahead of today's showdown with Chelski I'm predicting that we'll draw at best! Still where theres Fowler there's hope. Anyway a great night of races on the cards for tonight starting off with a real cracker from Dubai. Remember the Tri Cast Challenge is up to £300 so make sure to enter tonight's competition.

Passing Glory - 8:12 - 25/1

The Jarrow Jester has a fine young colt on his hands here in the shape of 'Passing Glory'. 4 wins from 9 runs as well as 2 placed finishes make this horse one of the hottest prospects on the Getminted Racing scene. Winning both of his last 2 races Passing Glory hasn't been out since last Monday so he should be fighting fit ahead of this difficult test in Dubai. Has never raced at this level before finally stepping up from the Juvenille rankings but at these odds he's good enough to spring a suprise. Won on muddy on the 23rd on this very track , an each way punt could put a smile on your face this evening.

Wee Beastie - 9:36 - 17/2

Hawaiian Sound is a worthy favourite in this race as so many of the others have deadful form on yielding going. It's amazing that the likes of Warcraft and NeniKikamen are at such short odds when you consider they've struggled so badly on this going in the past. While Wee Beastie finished last on yielding just four days ago the result must be read in it's context. The 6 year old colt now with the Redoubtable Equine stable had been entered in 6 races in 8 days, no wonder it came last the poor thing was shattered! A brief three day rest and he was back to winning ways on soft in the UK. In 74 races Wee Beastie has won in 12 and been placed in 17, I can see him adding to one of those figures this evening.

Question of Time - 9:55 - 22/1

Crazy odds for this horse from the RedHalo Racing stable when you consider he's won two of his last five races, and been placed in another two. A horse with good promise he's mixed it up with strong fields already in his 17 race career. It took Question of Time a while to settle and deliver though to Red Halo Racing's credit they never lost hope in their young colt. Overall stats for him read 17 runs, 5 wins and 3 placed finishes. Ended up in 2nd last time out on the 26th of last month in Hong Kong over 2 miles, just a third of a length behind the eventual winner Oscar Schindler. Well rested, well trained, and well fancied for success in the 9:55.

Lets get ready to rumble!!!!!

Tips tonight: The Giant in the 8:24, Killerstream in the 8:57 and Grand Orchid in the last televised race of the evening the 9:55. Click on read more to find out the stats and odds:

The Giant - 8:24 - 13/1

This 3 year old colt has steadily improved over the last few months and odds of 13/1 look handy. In 42 runs the Giant has entered the winner's enclosure 7 times and finished in the places in 17. Having won the last two race he's been in, The Giant is looking for his first consecutive hatrick of victories in what was a busy January for the horse from the MSM stabe. Last time out on fast he finished 2nd in a field of 13 in Canada and could well go one better this evening.

Killerstream - 8:57 - 56/1

After two poor nights on the tipping front I'm hoping to redeem myself with a huge victory from the longshot Killerstream in the 8:57 race. 19 runs after he started his career in the heady heights of Getminted Racing he's won in 3 and been placed in 8. Has shown solid form of late and despite the fact that his two previous runs on fast were poor I think at this distance Killerstream can live up to his name in the 8:57. A placed finish would be excellent.

Grand Orchid - 9:55 - 11/1

It's so important that horses are entered in the right races. I think perhaps Grand Orchid will relish a return to fast going after struggling over soft, muddy and yielding in the past few weeks. In 19 races the 3 year old fillie has won in an impressive 6 races and been placed in 9. While his experience over fast amounts to just one race where she finished 3rd out of 7 on the 10th of October she can give a better show of herself. Each way chance here.

Three fine colts on a mission!

Well no Gabe last night, sorry ladies but we did have Andrew, a fine wine of a different vintage! No winners of the tricast challenge means it now stands at £100. Remember the races to watch out for are the 9:36, 9:48 and the 9:57. Also please don't forget to send in your pictures to getmintedracing@cellcast.TV, those who submit photos of themselves will be eligible for a prize from Getminted Racing so what are you waiting for?

Hail Caesar - 8:12 - 8/1

Slowly but surely this 2 year old colt is making a name for himself. While the statistics are far from impressive his performances of late have given cause for hope. In 14 runs so far, he's won in 3 and been placed in 7 suggesting a minor change in training could produce a far better contender. Last time out on muddy Hail Caesar finished 3rd on the 22nd of January in Canada in a field of 11. Tonight an each way punt may be a shrewd move.

Copernicus - 8:36 - 11/1

What a year 2006 has been for this dallas1 trained colt. The three year old who has been with the stable for just over a year plodded along without too much joy last year but since New Years day his career has exploded into success. In 46 runs Copernicus has now won in 11, 5 of them being in 2006 already. Add to the collection of wins 20 placed finishes and you see why this boy's owner is the King of Getminted Racing. The only worry relates to fitness he being out on the 25th, 28th and 30th of January. Still at these odds an each way punt could be a wise move.

Fort St Luke - 9:24 - 13/1

The Getminted Monthly League qualifier has as usual pitched some of the best horses on Getminted against each other once again. Fort St Luke from the Red Rope Race Yard especially takes my eye as he is looking for three straight wins on the bounce. So far he's won in 4 of his 8 races and has also been placed in 2. Though he has never raced on yielding before he will fancy this distance and should do much better than the bookie's odds suggest.
