What a win by Golden boy!

As it said in the stars Golden Boy won the 8:12 last night in terrific fashion at nice odds of 12/1. It's another fine win for this blogsite and with Kamarinskaya taking a place at 15/2 it was a good night all in all. But if it was good for me then it was wonderful for the McCann stable who scooped the £250 in free credits available after predicting the winners of all three races in the Tri-cast challenge. His name was picked out of a hat with the Jamacian stable losing out, however being the gent that he is McCann donated £50 of his credits to the Jamacian stable in a great gesture. Also congrats to Owl Flyer who won the Lucky text tip and confirmed that Finland have never reached the World Cup Finals! Spoof - 24/1 - 8:12

Last night Spoof was sensational winning in style in the UK. It was the 10th win of the 5 year old colt's 67 race career and displayed once again what a fine horse he is. While he normally avoids running on the good going he did have a win on good back on the 10th of October also in the UK. Has no weight disadvantage in this race and should run well if fitness is at a healthy level.

Silk Moth - 9:12 - 22/1

In excellent form Silk Moth has the ability to win this race and I just can't understand these long, long odds. While he's low on experience he's high on adrenalin having won 4 and been placed in 2 of his 7 races so far. On the back of two wins on the trot Silk Moth has been too hot to handle for others in the past couple of weeks and could be another handful in the 9:12 tonight. His last win 5 days ago came on muddy so the Gus Wing stable won't be too worried about the going. A likely each way prospect.

Miss de River - 9:48 - 13/2

The long wait continues for Miss de River! When is the 2 year old fillie going to register her first win for the Catlikething stable? She's now had 5 placed finishes out of 6 races and was especially unlucky not to win on the 1st of May down under when she finished second by half a length to Metal girl. Not a great field in this race and she'll fancy her chances of pulling off a win. However the more cautious of you may opt for an each way punt.
