The times they are a changin!
Exciting times ahead folks as Raceclubs/Getminted are revamping the site:
Members have suggested numerous enhancements to the game. Thank you for these suggestions. Methods to improve race programming and more efficient stable management, that saves time, have been the dominant suggestions.
Your valuable input has driven the development team to put in many hours of hard work over the last few months in designing, programming and testing various new features.
There will be one humongous upload on Wednesday 5 July. Some downtime is expected on the day for which we will provide more detail closer to the time.
Your new stable page will look quite different. The navigation bar on the right hand side will be gone, but you will be able to access these functions through icons at the top of every page. So, there will be no more seeing your account balance before viewing your recent races. The functions include ‘My Basket’, ‘Your Credit Balance’, the current ‘Conditions’, the page ‘Help’ items, a ‘Legend’ and site ‘Search’.
For full inpho see the news link on the Getminted racing homepage.

It's herself - 8:12 - 32/1
Massive odds here for a fine horse who has proved in the past that she likes the soft going. In a relatively small field of 9 Dallas1 will fancy his 4 year old's chances here. In 71 races this experienced fillie has recorded victories 14 times and has been placed in 31 starts. Recent form has dipped slightly but she should be good enough to challenge tonight. A solid each way chance.
Covert Action - 8:57 - 15/2
Its not always easy to predict the winners of novice races as they're so often previously untested. However in Covert Action owners Efisio seem to have picked up a handy colt who should earn his keep in the yard. Has only been out three times so far picking up two second place finishes (though one was in a claimer). Seems to be comfortable over soft going so yielding shouldn't be too much of a problem for him. Could well pick up his first career win in this race against very average competition.
Pennekamp (USA) - 9:12 - 22/1
Up to now theres been as much confidence in this horse as there was in the Swiss strikers last night in the World Cup! Poor old Pennekamp was entered in 5 consecutive claimers after poor runs in 4 competitive runs but his impressive upturn in form may have forced a rethink for the owners TR Racing. The 2 year old colt won two of the claiming races and was placed in the other three which makes me believe he could have a good chance of claiming a place in the 9:12 from Hon Kong.
