New stables embrace Getminted racing!

New owners are joining Getminted racing daily increasing the size and variety of the getminted racing community. Recently I spotted a post of the forums where some of the latest additions to the family were comparing stats, lets have a quick look at these newest stables.

MrMagoo stable - joined on the 21st of June - 11 runs, 3 wins, 3 placed finishes earnings: £35.57.

Well these stats speak for themselves. The MrMagoo stable is off to a flyer with Hieroglyphs looking like a shrewd buy. The 3 year old colt was picked up in a claimer on the 26th of June by Mrmagoo who paid just £15 to Ashlands stable for the black marauder. Other horses to watch out for in the stable are Major (UK) and Donut Rush me.The Mrmagoo stable run in red, yellow and black silks.

Logan stable - joined 22nd of June - 29 runs, 5 wins, 15 placed finishes - earnings: £92.11

He may only be with us two and a half weeks but already Logan is mounting up the winners. Its no wonder this latest owner has a bolt of lightening across the chest of his stable silks. Flying Saint bought from the Ken Allan stable has been a god send for Logan winning in 4 and being placed in 3 of his competitive races so far. Others to catch the eye include the wonderfully consistent Shallow Hal and the excellently named Stinky Bum!

Indie Boy - joined 10th of June - 18 runs, 2 wins, 2 placed finishes - earnings: £29.62

There was great excitement in this stable last Saturday when Two Dollers more recorded his first win for the Indie boy stable after being entered in a slew of claiming races. The recent acquisition of the well known Irish horse Pegasus will also improve confidence though he's yet to shine in his new yard. After a hefty purchase price alot rests on the shoulders of Pegasus but as he's consistently proved in the past he's usually up to any task.

Sompting Roses - 8:36 - 18/1

With over £3,500 in race winnings you can never write off this 5 year old fillie especially in a level weight race. The true value of Sompting Roses is refelcted in the money paid for her on two occasions. Dallas 1 paid £1,145 to the Lord Granger Racing stable for her back in January while just last month Derekw10 forked out £618 to bring her to his stable. In 172 races shes won in 45 and has been placed in 64. Recent form has been poor by her standards but she's been hampered by heavy weights and tonight in this level weight race should run well enough to take a place at these healthy odds.

King of Peru - 8:57 - 10/1

Just to confuse you totally the King of Peru was initially owned by the King of Norway! However on the 2nd of this month the 2 year old colt was bunged into the back of a horsebox, £20 exchanged hands, and he was whisked off to the Meat stable. Here he has been nurtured and encouraged to unprecedented heights and I'm sure Meat fancies him to run well in the USA this evening. In just 6 competitive starts the King of Peru has found victory once and has been placed in four others. This will be his first trip out on muddy but I still fancy him to do well. Excellent each way opportunity.

The Great1 - 9:24 - 9/2

Its important to note that despite poor recent form this 2 year old fillie always pulls out good displays on muddy going. In this average field the bookies feel so confident that she'll do well that they've installed her as second favourite. In 16 runs thus far on getminted racing The Great1 has won in 3 and been placed in 9 (though many of these were in smaller fields). Hardly a world beater but has a decent cahnce of doing well in this race.
