Hopefully Saint Dominic is the patron saint of virtual horses!

This 2 year old fillie has been progressing nicely under the radar and recording impressive training times and race results. Owned by DVDMAN1 she has won once and been placed in two of her three races so far. While she has never raced on fast going before she is well used to the distance and hasn’t raced for 9 days so fitness levels should be high. The stable owned by Niall in Northern Ireland is fast making a name for itself as a breeding ground for handy horses and ‘Santa Dominico’ is the latest off the conveyor belt!

At 5/1 she is good enough to win the 9:48 Novice Plates race in Dubai though an each way punt may be advised if you’ve been having the same bad luck as me recently!

Ken Allen and I badly need a big run from Flash Kancha in the 9:24 Getminted Monthly League Qualifier!
November 23rd, 2005
This horse doesn’t get out of bed for your run of the mill race, it needs to be a big one with big stakes. In 20 runs he has won 5 times and been placed 8, showing quality over all types of going. Has won 3 of his last 5 races but concerns abound regading his fitness levels for the 9:24. Flash Kancha is well capable of beating the rest in this field on his day but I’d settle for a placed finish at the attractive odds of 8/1.

Bookies fancy Spinnaker and I tend to agree!
November 23rd, 2005
On the face of it Spinnaker hasn’t been too impressive in his ten runs to date. A record of no wins and 5 places hardly sets him apart but both I and the bookies feel the best of this young 2 year old colt is yet to come. Diablo racing who train him have been content to run him over fast going recently and he was desperately unlucky not to snatch a place in his last race in the USA. The five furlong distance reaped a reward on the 7th of November when he was placed in Dubai and at 11/2 a place should be his in the 8:24 race from that same track.
